We loved this hotel, so beautiful! The rooms were great and beds very comfortable. We loved that our rooms had doors right out to the back garden, which was fantastic. Food and service were phenomenal ! I would definitely recommend this location.

Room was nice but very warm after some warm weather and hard to cool down. The food was good overall, but the breakfast could have been better for the price. Bar staff really good.

As a solo female traveler, I opted for this beautiful hotel in Glenrothes. It was centrally located to all things on my itinerary, and was very affordable for my, almost, two week stay! The hotel staff was the most welcoming staff I have ever witnessed, and it truly made all of the difference for my first big trip! The hotel has an option for continental breakfast, or you can request a full Scottish breakfast cooked as well! They have a restaurant right downstairs, and a bar to accompany that for after your long day of adventures! The venison Escalope quickly became my favorite meal. The rooms are clean, nicely ventilated, and have beautiful rural views- including the option for a Garden-view room. Within 10 minutes of Falkland, and less than an hour drive from Edinburgh; this hotel is perfect for solo travelers, families, or groups with a long stay. I truly felt at home at the Balgeddie, and would recommend it time and time again. I cannot wait to come back to book another stay! Slainte!

The toilet flush panel was hanging off when we arrived in pur room but we managed to refit it. I was a bit surprised there wasn't a walk-in shower in our room. The spa facilities were very nice thank you

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was spacious. My only issues were, the lighting in the en-suite was very dull, especially for making sure that you had taken all your makeup off, never mind trying to put it on. Both push buttons for the toilet were exceedingly stiff. I had to use both hands to try and push the button enough for it to flush. My only other quibble and the staff could do nothing about that, was the inconsiderate guests, going into their rooms at half two and half three in the morning. Banging the doors and talking loudly.
