It was enjoyable to be higher up in the city as it was quieter. Would recommend walking uphill from the hotel to experience more local shops and grocery stores. To maintain your sanity, DO NOT walk yourself and your suitcase to the hotel. Pay the porters. Or, if you must, take the road, not the stairs."
