"Regent is at a very good location in Taipei and it's very walkable. The property is well maintained and part of a complex with the Regent Galleria. You definitely can tell this is an upscale property. There's a Louis Vuitton right in the lobby, but the hotel is not pretentious so even casual travelers will feel welcome. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. It actually felt a bit silly taking 4 large steps from the door to the sink. Daily cleaning was very good. On site dining options were extensive but my only experience was the breakfast buffet. Selection is great, including local, western, Korean, Japanese options. I would recommend this for travelers searching for a more upscale experience and business travelers."

"This hotel is a bit out of the way and theres not much around so getting a quick bite or drinks are not that easily accessible but the price, amenities, space, and quality makes up for it. This was our first time visiting Taipei and we booked two different hotels. This one and one in Ximen and honestly I wished we had booked this hotel for our whole duration of our trip. The extra amenities like the laundry room and the snack room made our stay extremely pleasant. It honestly makes up for location. The rooms were fairly clean. We did notice some wear and tears on the building walls etc and the room smells like smoke even though it’s a no smoking room but it didn’t bother us too much. Overall I wouldn’t mind booking this place again."
