"Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for breakfast but that may have just been because of the wildfire smoke."

"Here's the updated version: --- **A clean, comfortable stay in Ridgway, CO** Chipeta Lodge was a great find in Ridgway. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with three people and a dog, and it worked out great. It's an older property, but it's been kept very clean and well-maintained. Beds and pillows were comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating, the pool was lovely, and towels were always well-stocked. One note: the sofa bed room has blinds but no curtains, so outside light can shine in brightly at night. Standout perks: - **Shower pressure** was fantastic - **Full-size fridge** in the room - **Free bottled water** — great for staying hydrated at altitude - Complimentary breakfast was OK, but the coffee was great - **Oatmeal cranberry cookies** (no raisins!) were the best hotel snack we've had - **Rooftop bar (White Buffalo Lounge)** had excellent drinks & views— ask for Ananda, she was awesome and took great care of us! Highly recommend this place! --- Let me know if there's anything else to tweak!"

"Very good for family, good breakfast but no markers on the food items, had to ask if items contain dairy, meat, eggs etc, Clean rooms, good amenities, we missed microwave for kids milk as the cafeteria was very far away, very scenic surrounded by tall mountains, close to all good eating places and hot springs. Parking was tight and limited, Overall recommended stay."
