"The hotel has passed its highlight years and needs a big renovation. The breakfast is minimal, the coffee excellent. The gem is the spa, really wonderful "

"Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe "

"A very clean, tidy and comfortable 3 star hotel that I surmise is family owned and possibly operated. I stayed out of season in April and it was very quiet. The breakfast is continental: mini croissants and viennoiserie ( chocolate and fruits), chocolate biscuits, fruit juices, cappuccino, espresso, cakes, tarts and tiny packs of Italian toast to enjoy with excellent butter and jams. There were some Italian businessmen staying and I feel that this kind of fayre is what is expected. There are no...

All of the staff were lovely, but a special mention goes to the hotel manager and the owner, who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. "Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."
