Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…

Everything was great BUT unfortunately they have a trick on the spa and wellness brochure which you need to be aware. Everything on the manu has a price listed (massages scrub facial nails etc) EXCEPT the SPA sauna Turkish bath and pools tour. They decided to omit the price so customer get confused and think that is free of charge but at the end they ask for 95€ for person. I found it very tricky because if they want to be honest they have to have price list with everything not everything except the spa tour. Once I told them they told me: IT IS NOT WRITTEN ITS FREE OF CHARGE. I said ok so if I use the pool or the gym after you will charge me because it is not written is not included? A structure need to be clear on prices and transparent. If they do not specify the price it means that it is arbitrary. The food was great the hotel is beautiful and the spa amazing.

Beautiful exterior, but rooms are quite old, toilets are not well maintained with rusty tap (in a 5-star hotel?) Pool was closed in end of Sep, but on the Expedia website hotel description, it says seasonal pool is only closed from October. Receptionist is not helpful nor friendly while check-in. It is not a 5-star experience that is expected. Restaurant staff is attentive though. Overall, do not recommend this hotel for this price.

Wonderful spa hotel on site of former convent. Well outside city center in quiet and peaceful compound. Luxurious accommodations and excellent staff. Was perfect for a relaxing stay. Culinary delights were beyond fantastic.

An amazing hotel

This hotel is the perfect places for couples and friends to relax. The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent as well. The restaurant was very good; we can especially advocate the pizza nights on Wednesdays! The only con was that the tap water was warm and we could never get could water out of them. Definitely can recommend this five-star hotel!

An oasis in Puglia

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. The web-site photos do not do it justice. Everything was of the highest quality and spotlessly clean. The interior design was relaxing and sympathetic to the original architecture, high quality comfortable beds and linen, discreet friendly service and an excellent restaurant on site.

As good as it looks like looks

Absolutely wonderful! Hospitable staff, everyone speaks English and will go out of their way to help. My husband is vegan am doing as long as you let them know in advance the Cheif is very accommodating. The spa is an absolute must! Get the Sharma massage - incredibly relaxing. Also do the horae back riding!

Perfect Relaxation

My daughter and I stayed here in the middle of a 2 week trip through Italy. A perfect respite from the trains, planes and cars. We had Spa massages and spent some time in the Lagoon. Lagoon, maybe overrated, but the massage was the best I've had in my 56 years! A bit of moist mold on one of the walls in the room needed to be pointed out to the staff. I'm sure it was fixed immediately. Probably happened because someone spent hours in the incredible shower with room for at least 4 people. Pleasure for sure.

Beautiful architecture, but not a 5star

That the spa is not included is important to write in the description of the hotel. Also the spa is not up to the standard I have seen of 5star hotels all over Europe. The gym didn’t have good air condition. We ordered a deep tissue massage but got just oiled in and it’s by my experience not a 5 star educated massage professional hired doing the job. The positive side and stars of this hotel is the food and the service in the restaurant and pool bar. There has been a careful thought out in to the architecture and overall construction and gardens making it peaceful and elegant.

Chambre magnifique avec une vue spectaculaire. L'hotel très authentique et le personnel très à l'écoute et très aimable. Dès qu'on les appelaient, ils venaient. Le nettoyage de la chambre laissait un peu à désirer ( cendrier plein, dentifrice sur le robinet, miroir salle de bain pas nettoyé...)
