"Great location if you are visiting Tikal. The only downside is that most of the rooms do not have AC and the mosquito netting blocks the breeze from the ceiling fan. Because there is no AC, you get the pleasure of hearing the sounds of the jungle all night long and the howler monkeys are very active. Light sleepers may want to bring along some ear plugs."

"My fiance and I loved everything about Las Lagunas! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with drinks and a warm welcome from Brayan. Breakfast every morning with Elmer serving us was great. He was very friendly, personable, and made sure to say goodbye to us before we left. Drinks from Hector tasted amazing! He was also very friendly, personable, and helped us source local items to take home. Our tour guide Sergio was awesome and knowledgeable! We enjoyed having him for both of the tours...

"I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important. Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have...

"Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. "

"Hice mi reserva y pago por medio de la pagina. Cuando llegue al hotel, me indicaron que no trabajaban con niguna pagina se hoteles y que no tenian mi reserva. Al contactarme con Hotels.com para conentarle el caso me indican que no se pudieron contactar con el establecimiento por lo que no me podian hacer un reembolso. He usado muchas veces Hotels.com y es la primera vez que me pasa esto, lamentablemente una lección de $100 :("

"Mal servicio, no hay restaurante como indica la pagina. No fue una buena experiencia. Habitacion limpia, pero muy alejado de todo."

"My wife and I had an amazing 4 nights stay at Tiffany Hotel. Came here to see the Tikal, the lost world. Near the airport. Lots of Tuktuk. Nice and clean hotel. Pool was small but functional. Aroma resto on 2nd flr served great food. Staff are friendly especially miss Johnny. Highly recommend Tiffany hotel to everyone and you will enjoy your stay here. "
