We needed a place with a bed and a shower for one night in San Diego. Pleasant Inn fit that need fine. Was clean and the bed was comfortable. The place could use an update but what they have is well maintained. Price was excellent!

The staff member who checked us in was friendly. Parking was convenient. The bed was creaky and bowed under human weight so the mattress caved in when either of us turned in bed. The walls are very thin so I could hear what was happening in surrounding rooms which made it hard to sleep.

Most staff were super nice and responsive. Rooms were clean. Beds only had sheets, no blanket cover as pictured, "we are transitioning to no blankets so some rooms have them, some don't" was odd, although they gave me a mismatched blanket upon request. Overall stay ok, but be sure to put "do not disturb" on your door. Eight-thirty am the cleaning supervisor was pounding on our door, demanding to know if we would need our room cleaned that day so she could make her schedule (not do cleaning right then, but make her plan). Very unpleasant awakening. Overall summary: this place was reasonably priced, clean, convenient to 805.
