"Very friendly staff but the hotel is located next a busy, noisy street. The hotel is also located near many restaurants and bars which is great for walking to, but because of the loud music from the bars, it’s after midnight before it’s quiet enough to fall asleep. The hotel also had lots of spring breakers coming back from the bars at night being loud and obnoxious. "

"When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00...

"Would definitely revisit! The birds are a problem when it comes to eating outside. The pool is beautifully maintained which is why it surprises me that they do not pay as much attention to deck and lounge chairs. We had to wipe bird dropping off of every lounge chairs we sat in. "

"I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times (5–6 visits) and always had a great experience, which is why this situation is so disappointing. I was charged for a restaurant bill at 7:09 AM on the day of my arrival, even though my flight landed at 1:55 PM — clearly impossible. I contacted both accounting and management and provided full proof, but no one has responded for 10 days. It appears a simple mistake was made, but instead of resolving it, they are ignoring the issue. Very disappointing...

"Staff was curious, room was clean though we had to kill small lizard which had crawed a cross our bed. Our only issue was the bed. It was old and huut our back after being there for only 2 days. The other issue is location. This hotel is off the beaten path. The cab driver had a hard time finding it initially. Took us 20 - 25 minutes to get to the ⛱ beach. Great price but the location to the beach a concern. "

"This property was great, we had a private plunge pool and 2 shared pools on the property along with a little pier area. Everything was nice and easy"

"Beware when you book Divi hotels Aruba.We chose all inclusive & paid good $ and they put us up at the Divi Dutch village and told us that the all inclusive was not included.They wanted us to pay $200-$250 per adult each day for the all inclusive package!We were upset but ate dinners and some breakfast outside the resort and on site because Aruba has great food and great restaurants so we made the best of our 5 day trip."

"This is an excellent place to stay in Aruba. Its very close to the beach. The property is very clean inside and out. The rooms are very spacious. Three spacious rooms with 3 1/2 bathrooms. You really cant beat that. Comes with washer, dryer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and two balconies. Includes 4 beach chairs and beach towels. I will stay here every time I come back to Aruba. The property is very close to shops and dining. Wish I could give this place place 10 stars. I highly recommend it!!!"
