"If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. It is a bit out of the way so be prepared for that but if you want peace and quiet away from the crowds this is the place. Lovely beach practically private to walk...

"Right next to Relax Bay beach which was never too crowded. Place was bigger than expected with a small kitchen. Nice and clean. Very quiet at night so slept great. Unfortunately I never got the check in email, but manager was easy to reach over WhatsApp and showed up just a few minutes later to help me so all good. Greatly recommend this quiet place, would definitely stay again!"

Beim ersten Augenschein viel sofort der Müll der vor-Gäste auf, der nicht aus den Mülleimern und dem Bad entfernt wurde, Staubschicht auf ebenen Flächen, Bad (nicht) richtig gereinigt- hatte den Eindruck, dass außer frischen Bettbezügen nichts an roomkeeping erfolgte. "LOVED it. If you are looking for a quiet place to just relax on the beach-this is your hotel. Staff greeted us with orange juice and they handled all our baggage from the moment we got off the boat. They also have free boat rides for day of arrival and departure. My husband and I didn't want to be by all the touristy parts so this was perfect. It felt isolated and quiet and I absolutely loved having private beach as my front yard. You can go kayaking, hiking (although this hike was definitely an UPHILL challenge which they do warn you about and it needs to be updated), and my favorite activity-snorkeling. There is a plethora of fish in the water and so many colors and sizes. It was a magical experience to swim with them every day. Room was cleaned everyday and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was included and they were very generous with serving sizes. I loved how we were able to do all the touristy things on this island without having to be around so many people. Will absolutely be back!"

"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed. The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures. The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :) Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it. "
