The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. "Very decent hotel, particularly good for overnight stays for the ferry. The reception we received was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was very clean. The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. Perfect hotel for us."

"Wenn man das Memorial von Cean besuchen möchte, hat das Hotel eine super Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß dort. Für die Altstadt ist man ca 40 Minuten zu Fuß unterwegs. Einen Supermarkt mit großer Auswahl kann man in gut 10 Minuten erreichen. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, es gibt eine Bar mit freundlichem Personal und einen Pool. Die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel sind super, insgesamt war ich hier zufrieden."

"Un bel établissement à proximité de Clécy, au grand calme, un endroit en pleine campagne, très reposant. Une grande chambre avec une très bonne literie avec tout le confort. La cuisine est également de bon niveau, sans oublier le petit-déjeuner où rien ne manque. Cerise sur le gâteau, le personnel et la propriétaire sont éminemment sympathiques et accueillants. Petit plus pour les golfeurs, un parcours pas du tout facile mais ô combien agréable, en pleine nature. Nous recommandons...

"2 mins walk from the beach where there are some inflatable games for children. It is situated right in the shopping area with restaurants, cafés, ice creams and waffles parlours and boulangeries. Super clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay. Be aware that there is no elevator. "

"We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "
