"Motel is in a nice location closer to restaurants and coffee shops. Room was clean and well maintained. I loved the Keurig coffee in the room. Packed breakfast - bread, yogurt, jam, juice and granola was worth it. Overall an excellent place to stay."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this inn mostly due to the attention and kindness of the owner and her family. The breakfast was very varied with local, fresh products. The room was intimate but then that is part of the charm of a country inn. Highly recommend it."

"Nous avions une très belle vue sur l’océan et le lit était confortable. Par contre, la climatisation rafraîchissait très peu la chambre. De plus, aucun déjeuner n’était offert, alors que lors de ma réservation, il était indiqué qu’il était inclus. Enfin, les espaces extérieurs gagneraient à être mieux entretenus, car l’aménagement paysager donnait une impression de manque d’entretien."

"We stayed for 4 nights at Gite TerreCiel and absolutely loved it. David was an amazing host - so helpful and thoughtful. He started our days with gorgeous and delicious breakfasts, sent us off with extra croissants and fruit when we were taking a day trip, and even took care of a load of laundry for us as we were in the middle of an extended trip. The house was beautifully decorated and welcoming, with wonderful shared spaces (kitchen, library, sunroom) and lovely private bedrooms with ensuites....

"We stayed 4 nights at the Auberge in La Malbaie and I’m convinced it’s the best choice in the area. Auberge is an old timey word meaning hostel or residence. This is not a shiny new boutique hotel. It’s a well-run quaint older hotel with a variety of rooms and an excellent French restaurant. I recommend the rooms directly above the reception area which have plush beds, wood burning fireplaces, large bathtubs, and balconies with incredible views of the St Laurence. We stayed in room 116. The restaurant was delicious and the restaurant staff were very attentive, including the chef. The pool and spas were super fun. The water of the pool was just the right temperature.
