"Hotel is in an excellent location, handy to historical centre. We booked the room based on having air conditioning, which it had but it didn’t work. So room was too hot and impacted sleep. Room had no fridge. When we asked for an ice bucket to cool drinks this was reluctantly provided. Reception lady said we needed to buy drinks from bar rather than drink our own. When travelling on a budget this is our choice as to how we drink. On Saturday morning street sweeper and garbage trucks run early so...

"Trop rustique, pas de chauffage central, des petits radiateurs portatifs ont été rajoutés mais soit il fait trop chaud, ou soit trop froid. Le sol est glacial (les tomettes sont jolies, mais très froides) "

Pouvoir profiter de la visite de toute l'abbaye comprise dans le prix de la chambre est un bon plus (surtout que nous ne le savions pas et avons failli payer la visite avant d'arriver à l'hôtel). La restauration pique nique "panier de l' ermitage" est très bonne, mais mériterait d'être un peu plus copieuse pour ce tarif (ne serait ce que quelques amuse-bouche). Parfait pour un week-end en...

"Tout était parfait, l’accueil la chambre, la salle de bain nickel. J’aurais apprécié des œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner plutôt que des œufs durs, froids. Le jambon dans la boîte Tupperware, pas très pratique à se servir et quelques fourchettes à disposition aurait été appréciées "

"Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food. We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur. Lovely area. "

"Si certains aspects extérieurs et parties communes ont besoin d'un rafraichissement, la chambre de catégorie confort que j'avais prise, était refaite à neuf avec des équipements de qualité, et des peignoirs et serviettes en nids d'abeille, une rareté! La chambre était très propre et calme. elle donnait sur l'arrière côté jardin et piscine. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une verrière qui ouvre sur la verdure."
