This is the second time we have stayed and it was just as remembered. It is a bit quirky but our room perfect for us and the dog plus being immaculately clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back.

Decent place for a night; inaccurate description

The hotel description does not mention that the hot tub and sauna are only available for an extra fee. The beds were not comfortable, and the air condition unit was not sufficient for the room so it remained hot. The pool was small and very crowded, and the wood around the pool was rotten in spots. The view from the area was beautiful, and the service and drinks in the bar were good. Reception was friendly once I found her (no one was available upon arrival for about 10-15 minutes).

Interesting place

Apparently this was the cheapest possible room of the hotel, in a separate building apartment. The room was clean except the bathroom would need more scrubbing (there's visible rust stains and calc in the shower) and someone has left a black string on the mat - dont know why or where from. This was just a detail though. The worst thing was that the whole time, anyone could've have come to the door and see inside the apartment. Actually, that was possible from the walkway already, if I've left lights on. The curtains were blocking nothing and anyone could've seen inside - that left quite worrying feeling. :( The restaurant in the premises was excellent!

The food in the on site restuarant was amazing, the chef employed their is an artist with her food. The room was very comfortable and perfect for our needs, slight downside for it is the distance from the town centre, but the staff would be happy to order you a taxi should you want to head in to town for the evening.

Didn't realize we had booked a cottage/apartment vs standard room, but so glad we did! Didn't need/utilize the kitchen, but really appreciated the large, bright room, "dining" table and private deck. Wonderful peaceful setting and easy drive to the Tank Museum and Riding School (about 5minutes down the road).

Everything was wonderful. I stayed there 5 days and tried everything, le petit déjeuner delicious, le dîner incredible ! Only thing I didn’t know is that I had to pay extra to enjoy the jacuzzi (why isn’t it included ?). I needed it to warm up bc coming from Miami, the drop in temperature was brutal :). But it’s ok I still loved it ! Thank you !

Oberhalb des Loire Tal gelegen bietet sich ein fantastischer Ausblick. Sehr gutes Essen und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Zimmer in kleinen Häusern sind zweckmäßig und gut, auch ein Pool ist vorhanden. Ab und zu Live-Musik.

Point positif : la très belle terrasse de la chambre Pour le reste, besoin d'un rafraîchissement, l'espace détente ne vaut absolument pas le prix : manque de propreté, petit et si vous souhaitez profiter du bain nordique vous pas devant le restaurant et les gens en terrasse. Pensez à prendre des claquettes car ce n'est pas fourni et vous devez aller à l'extérieur.

Un peu déçu

Restaurant excellent dommage que la chambre soit bruyante pas de vue directe sur saumur mais vue toit avec vis à vis et au lieu d’un grand lit 2 lits collés sinon tout était très bien
