"We arrived late at night. The receptionist (I believe he’s the owner) sent me a message ahead of time to confirm the reservation and arrival time. The rooms were in good condition. The buffet breakfast was served on the 5th floor with excellent options. We checked out at 12pm and were allowed to stay in the lobby with our things until the transportation picked us up after 4 hrs or so. The owner even helped us in contacting our transport since they were late. "

"Fansipan is a comfortable, older hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast buffet and menu is delicious. The rooftop pool is warm and has great views. The pool deck furniture is mostly wood and does not have cushions, so bring something cushy to lay on. Great views of the mountains."
