Phuong Nam Hotel has a great location — it’s very convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and several Sapa attractions. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. However, the room itself could use some updating. The furniture and facilities feel a bit worn out, and a refresh would definitely make the stay more comfortable. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re mainly looking for a good location and basic accommodation.

Very nice and clean hotel. Front desk staff helped us get a taxi to go to the bus terminal Hanoi. She even called Interbus Line to ensure they will wait for us. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed there for 3 nights. Location was very convenient. Breakfast was included in our price which made it a great value. The buffet choices were awesome. Minor issue with the toilet flush was promptly rectified. Unfortunately, due to the rains and fog during our stay, the mountain view visibility was zero. Otherwise, we'd stay there again if we visit Sapa next time.

Great views and location

Great location, seconds to main streets in town, and good for everything, good views of mountains, staff polite and helpful, rooms kept very clean. Only down side, both the rainfall and normal shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere, but for the price I couldn’t complain, bed was very comfy but could do with better pillows

We arrived early in the morning. The guy at front desk ( sorry did not get your name) was awesome, he helped me about extending another night. He showed us where we can leave our luggages. The breakfast was buffet and really good. They have Phò in breakfast huffet. Will definitely come back.

The view from the balcony was very nice. Staff was friendly. The area around the hotel was very busy but lots of great dining options and close to the city centre. One surprise was that you have to pay for the pool/whirpool per person.

Excellent location. View from the balcony and top floor amazing. Rooms need a bit of love (paint not redone, scuff on the walls, worn out trimmings. Spa advertised not available. Breakfast is one of the best we have had in Vietnam. Staff not very attentive and welcoming.
