"Nicer Ryokan for the area. Obvious reason to stay is to visit the Shibu Onsen facilities and the Snow Monkey Park and this is a great option for those activities. Pretty close to the Shiga Kogen resort. Check the Map before booking as it is not in Nagano despite the address. Diner and breakfast with Half board was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttles were a bonus."

"There was a shuttle expecting us outside Yudanaka station, even though it's just a 6min walk to the hotel, but much appreciated when you're carrying bags. The place is beautiful and the private onsen: AMAZING (indoor and outdoor). Breakfast was a nice varied Buffet and loved the provided yukatas. Would definitely go back! "

"It had an Onsen on sight which was nice. It’s a nice place and close to station. The beds are basically mattresses (futons) on the floor. This means very firm so for those who need more padding like my old body it can be a stiff night of sleep. Staff very friendly and for the money for 5 people it was great"
