This was the most unique little stay close to the centre of rovaniemi. For a family of 5 it was awesome in winter.

This suited us perfectly. Two parents and a 13 yr old. It was warm and cozy, there's a sofa in one room, 2 chairs in the other and a dining table in the kitchen. WiFi was fast and free. We were in the lower apartment so we did hear walking about from the apartment upstairs, but the people staying above us were quiet so it wasn't an issue for us. However if you did get rowdy people above you it would be noisy in the lower apartment. The only other issue is the apartment front door that's a bit tricky to open, you get the knack after opening it a few times, and there's a sticker giving tips to open it. The sticker itself is a little disappointing as it's obvious been an issue for a while, so really should be rectified. Was a convenient base close to amenities served us well. We had a hire car and parking was available without any issues

Lovely lodge. Very authentic. Clean accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen with tea bags and coffee machine. Towels and shower gel/shampoo, slippers included. Only problem we found was it was very noisy upstairs with people walking around which you can hear all times of the day. Also it can get a bit cold around the accommodation, especially in the kitchen. Key to room IV was a bit dodgy.

Property was good. Cleanliness could be improved, areas around hot plates in kitchen had lots of hair stuck to it, kitchen towel had hairs. A little upgrade in kitchen appliances would be great. Also the log house has a fire place but it was not prepared to be used but was only there for decoration.

Property was very near to the city centre with walking distance. The perfect gift shop if you would like to grab something is right at your property. Only complain I would have to add is if you’re a light sleeper and living on the first floor, the wooden floor above might make you annoyed if guest is walking around middle of the night. I’m a heavy sleeper so no issue for me. Overall good experience.

Vi ankom sent til denne koselige atmosfæriske leiligheten. Her fant vi virkelig roen. Kjøkkenet var bra utstyrt og dusjen var deilig (selv om den var liten). Vi sov som en sten. Her kommer vi garantert tilbake.

A great family vacation

We stayed in Lauri 1 which is a big, spacious room. We very much enjoyed this genuinely Finnish space (and we are Finns) and it worked perfectly for a family of five. The surroundings are really beautiful and authentic, yet they are right in the middle of Rovaniemi, with easy access to everywhere. We recommend Lauri!

I loved the atmosphere of the property, the helpfulness of the staff, the gift shop featuring truly unique items from the area and many from the workshop on the grounds. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Rovaniemi!

The manor house had character. The beds were comfortable, however there was nowhere to "hang out" comfortably. The chairs were old and stiff and the couch wasn't comfortable. There wasn't a tv in the room which was hard with kids.

Cute and charming manor. Hosts were responsive to our questions and providing information regarding check-in. Well-situated to sites in downtown Rovaniemi. Nice play area for kids in the main manor where we stayed.

Upea ja tunnelmallinen majapaikka aivan Rovanniemen keskusta-alueen tuntumassa, mutta kuitenkin rauhallisemmilla pikkukaduilla. Yllätyttiin kuinka keskustassa lopulta oltiinkaan, kävellen pääsi aivan ytimeen. Silti tunnelma oli rauhallinen ja hiljainen, kun oltiin pienellä kadulla. Itse kartano oli hieno ja persoonallinen kohde yöpyä, avaimet sai kätevästi koodilla, joten saapumisajasta ei ollut huolta. Pihalle sai auton hyvin parkkiin. Huoneesta löytyi kaikki mitä tarvittiin, ruuantekovälineet, jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin, mikro jne. Myös majoituksen yhteydessä ollut lahjatavara-& käsityöläiskauppa oli hieno ja mukaan tarttui vähän matkamuistoja. :) Suosittelen kaikille jotka kaipaa persoonallisempaa majapaikkaa!

We really liked how authentic the property is. This is a beautiful Finnish home. When we arrived at night, everything was lit up and looked so magical and welcoming. The owners are very artistic and there are individual touches all over the property and even snowmen in the garden. You have plenty of space and everything you need in your apartment. It is only 10 mins walk to the main town square and the airport bus will drop you off right outside.
