"Family recommended this hotel as the best one in Castlegar. After staying here 2 separate occasions, the owner needs to do some serious upgrades and investments. On a positive note,the staff was awesome and the hotel was quiet. Recommend upgrades, handicap button to open the front doors. There is none. Carpet in hallway upstairs needs cleaning or changed. Rip out the carpets in the rooms. Put better flooring in. Our room the floor board moved. Please put soap by the sinks in the bathrooms to...

"The room were clean although there was a musty smell so we ran the bathroom fan most of the time. The female owner wasn’t overall friendly. We would say hi or wave to her and she disregarded us. The male owner was very friendly. Nothing fancy but we rented many rooms as a family and the gazebo area was great for us to all hang out, bbq and have a fire."
