"The room 601 was not accessible by anything but stairs. Staff was not available when leaving to help with my luggage and I fell down the stairs with my bags trying to get to the elevator. When I tried to explain to the front desk about the accident she didn’t seem to care. My wrist and knee are injured. To have rooms only accessible by stairs and not offer assistance with luggage to the elevator is ridiculous. I left a bag of take out I had put in the hallway for trash and it sat there outside...

"Check in was good. We had a generous sized room looking out onto the bay with a balcony but it came at a hefty price. The carpet was stained and the bathroom floor dirty in the corners. Items were replaced haphazzardly. No mugs in the room despite a kettle and we had to ask for these. Breakfast was adequate but slightly mean spirited, evidenced by tiny juice glasses and bowls for other items. Bar service was friendly and welcoming with, surprisingly, generous portions for the bar food."

"This hotel was conveniently located, but there was not much going for it beyond that. The staff was polite, but did not seem to have any hospitality training. There were no offers to help with bags or for recommendations in the area. The rooms have been updated recently. While pretty, it’s clear the renovation was surface-level only. "Avoid this hotel unless you are looking for the bare minimum. The stucture is outdated and offers minimal comforts. The biggest downside is the noise: night an day continous street noise as the windows do not isolate from it. In order to shower you have to time exactly how you pass the door to get into the showe stall. The toilet is placed alongside the wall. The wifi is at best spotty. Even when it works, it is very slow. The whole hotel atmosphere is honesty sad."
