"The location could not be better, steps from St Francis Basilica. The views are spectacular. I valued the history of the hotel, which used to be a monastery. They have done a good job adding some modern conveniences while maintaining its historic foundation. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the customer service was excellent. "Everything was just right for me, from the room with a view, to the breakfast buffet, to the friendly and helpful personnel. I enjoyed my stay very much and would consider returning to the property on my next trip to Assisi. It is also very nice that the property is very close to the Piazza Comune, the center of town, and close to many of the important churches in Assisi as well as to good restaurants within walking distance."
