"The view was STUNNING! The location was perfect for us - happy to be next door to the Basilica of St. Francis. We didn't mind walking up the hills and through the beautiful streets of Assisi to get to the center of town, but you might want a taxi to go up to the hotel from the last bus stop."

"Our room was ready early in the day and there was someone working the desk all day for check in. The gentleman was so kind and gave us a map of the city, pointing out where all the Saints are and how to get to each site. The room was a triple for husband, myself and teenage son. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful with boiled eggs, meat and cheese, yogurt, croissants and tarts. The location is walkable and close to all the sites right in the heart of lovely Assisi. We parked in a city lot for the overnight stay and used the escalator to bring our luggage up to the town and then it was a short walk tot he hotel."
