Dayton House Resort, BW Signature Collection

"My husband and I both had mixed reviews on the hotel. It was absolutely immaculate in the room. However there were no towel racks whatsoever in the bathroom to hang up anything wet. So we were just folding things looking for furniture to drape things over to dry. But the room was very nice in itself. As for the view, if you look to the right, it was great. If you look to the left you see a huge crane working on a rusted out project that they're working on. It extends a couple hundred feet out into the ocean so my husband just kept saying " just don't look that way!" As far as the outside there were four buildings. A laundry is only in one, so you would have had to carry a laundry basket outside onto the street into another building to do your laundry. That was nuts. No air conditioning whatsoever in the hallways. The elevator was suffocating. no air exchange fan or coolness whatsoever. There were only two elevators and one was out of order so you had to wait forever to get up or down. I literally almost passed out at one point in the elevator. Could not breathe.. The food was good. No problems there for the breakfast. For such a big hotel room. It would have been nice if they had double sinks instead of just one. Also there was literally no lobby in the reception area to speak of. They only had four chairs where you could sit down. Waiting for your turn to check in or out. No complimentary refreshments offered. The staff was great. Husband loved it."
