"Great location for Ambleside and the lakes. Only minor points were car park was pretty tight and only 2 spaces that EVs could use of which one had a reserved car for a disabled driver (although next door sauce was marked for such cars). Lack of air con made room quite warm on what was a very hot weekend, however rooms were well appointed and spacious. Spa and gym were excellent and worth a visit, very clean too. Food for breakfast could not be faulted and nice to have a varied choice of fish too. Overall, highly recommended and good vfm too."
