Every detail in the hotel & restaurant was so well thought out, from beautiful artistic touches in the rooms, to the creative and delicious menu, to the papaya trees towering overhead to create an oasis of tranquility. "The ocean was visible from the restaurant and pool. Great food at the restaurant. We had the Tico Roll, hamburger, Hawaiian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven and a chicken wrap. All were splendid. Excellent choices at the breakfast buffet. Lovely maintained pool with a bar that had a happy hour. The only drawback was the steep walk to our room, to the beach or to get to the main road which was a km away. It didn't bother us but if you don't like a challenge grab a can. Rides in a golf cart we're...

"We loved our stay at Verde de mar. It’s directly on the beach and I seen more monkeys here than we did at the park. The hotel staff are all so friendly and helpful. Randall at the front desk helped us many times trying to figure out restaurants and directions. Ronny and the Cook ( sorry I forgot his name )at the little restaurant in the hotelwas so kind and we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast there every day. My favourite part was playing with the cat Samy . "
