"Was so impressed with this hotel! It was an extremely good price which made me think it would maybe not be as good as other more expensive ones in the area, but I was wrong! It was very clean, really good size room, nicely decorated and big bathroom too! We had a good nights sleep, it was quiet and the bed was comfy. There was a kettle (with plenty of teabags, sugar, milk) and cookies which I thoroughly enjoyed on arrival after our loooong trip. There was an iron and ironing board and a DECENT...
"The facilities in rooms are excellent, a fully equipped kitchen area, great bathroom, dining table and chairs, you could live their permanently as it has everything you would need. Situated two minutes from Selfridges, the Arndale Centre and bars and restaurants it is very convenient.
Be aware there is a £100 deposit preauthorisation required until you have checked out and the room has been inspected.
My only criticism is the bed is very hard, the option of a mattress topper would be good. "
"We stayed here for one night as it was close to the restaurant we were visiting.
It was easy to find, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and it had everything we needed inside.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent. The staff were welcoming, helpful and the bar man made great cocktails. I’d recommend for a one night stay but any longer I may suggest finding an alternative as the is no proper hanging or store areas in the bedroom or bathroom."
"Shame Gotham has been sold to Leonardo. Hopefully the hotels style and glamour will remain following the renovations. Gotham was a unique hotel in terms of design and charisma."

"Firstly, the location is excellent. Very easy to navigate from the train station. Upon entrance into the property, you are welcomed by extremely friendly and professional staff. Whilst admiring the decor and furnishings you are even offered a beverage when signed in - a wonderful touch. Once in your room, you will enjoy a well cleaned, beautifully lit, main bedroom, bathroom & shower. Overall, a joyous experience, with quaint nearby dining options. The hotel food, also lovely.
