The Midland hotel in Manchester is an absolutely iconic building steeped in history. Our stay there was amazing, the decor is breathtaking, the rooms sumptious, and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We all felt very looked after.

Had a brilliant night sleep
Room very quiet
From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, we had a wonderful experience. The entire staff that we dealt with was exceptional. The restaurant on site was amazing. Everything we ate was amazing. We will definitely be returning yearly as long as Prayer Storm at the Manchester Center is held. Thank you staff
The property has a very attractive lobby area. The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming.
The pool whilst small is nice and warm and is in a relaxing setting.
The property is in walking distance to the shops and I would stay again.
A favorite hotel of mine to visit for business. The rooms are always very clean however the rooms and in particular the bathroom needs a bit of an update. Staff were professional but a little cold on the desk, I had an issue with my key card and was treated like I was trying to sneak into the hotel when I asked for them to be reactivated.
I did however have a personal issue that was solved in a very helpful manor by one of the team. The most annoying part of booking this hotel is the amount of emails and PDF attachments they send you - surely this could be condensed into one email.
It was my first time at The Midland and I will be back. The location is great, the staff are exceptional, and the food and drinks were perfect. The room was very nice, though we only had a standard room. The only thing I thought was unfair was paying £10 to use the pool for one hour; this should be part of the stay. It put us off using the pool simply because we felt it was just another money-making scheme. I do not mind paying for services, but I do not like being ripped off or having surprises after the fact.
Wonderful heritage hotel in central Machester, great location with nearby parking. Great breakfast options - was a busy sitting so we didn't realise there was a specialist egg chef available, but great selection of buffet hot and cold breakfast food & drink. Really lovely friendly helpful staff.
Beautiful reception area which smelt just gorgeous. Classy place, fresh but still steeping in history and class. Great breakfast.
Would definitely stay again.
