"I've been to the Abel Heywood for food and drinks many times but this is the first time I've stayed over. It won't be the last time. The room was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, very well appointed - tea makings, a nice en suite and plenty of wardrobe space, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Even though it's located in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

"My favorite hotel of my trip- room was the perfect size for 1, (maybe a bit small for 2) modern, clean, the only criticism I have is the “hair/body wash” was the only item provided in the shower- I have long thick hair and absolutely needed proper shampoo and conditioner which I went out and bought- that cheap stuff doesn’t cut it to wash a real head of hair. Everything else was great!"
"the street we accessed the Hotel had contractors working with barely space to walk. The hotel is hemmed in on all sides by tall overlooking blocks. Our room heard the waste bins being wheel out during night out. Spacious bedroom, but still no chair or desk to sit on or work from - apart from the kingbed with best ever leather headrest arrangement. Standard room and the bathroom is a tight squeeze.
All very upmarket, modern, contemporary, let down by pseudo americanisms.

"The facilities in rooms are excellent, a fully equipped kitchen area, great bathroom, dining table and chairs, you could live their permanently as it has everything you would need. Situated two minutes from Selfridges, the Arndale Centre and bars and restaurants it is very convenient.
Be aware there is a £100 deposit preauthorisation required until you have checked out and the room has been inspected.
My only criticism is the bed is very hard, the option of a mattress topper would be good. "

No parking due to city centre location - pre booked suggested carpark (Q Park Piazza ) worked well (but cost £37 for 1 night stay so suggest factoring that into stay) - lots of construction in Manchester atm (some close to hotel) but noise was not an issue - happy to recommend "
"Perfect location,a very short walk to Arndale shopping centre. Hotel was very clean,room very spacious,spacious bathroom, no noises and the most comfortable bed . Room cleaned every day . Very friendly staff. I would stay again and i would certainly recommend Hotel Indigo."
