The ceiling had no sound deadening material to speak of. I listened to the upstairs tenants footsteps for three nights. Nice condo otherwise. But I wouldn’t recommend that particular condo. There upstairs units are a good choice. Or charge a lot less.

Makai Club was a great place to stay. The accommodations are clean, spacious, well-appointed, and views of lush vegetation all around are beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. They loan you beach chairs, umbrellas, DVD’s, and more. There’s a lovely pool and jacuzzi. Great location near Princeville and Hanalei.

We enjoyed the amenities (beach chairs, ice and cooler for the beach, and umbrella). The people at the reception area were very helpful. The location was great for what we needed. The only thing we could have used was some more basic kitchen items more than salt and pepper.
