"Lovely hotel with a lot of character & stunning original features. Without exception, all the staff were helpful & friendly. Our room was very comfortable & breakfast was excellent. We had time for a walk around the beautiful grounds in Coombe Abbey Park before checking out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend!"
"Outstanding hotel, situated in a quiet location away from the noisy and busy city . Rooms are cozy and maximally comfy. Good interior, with extra duvet kept for use. Cleanliness was a top notch. Bed was very comfortable , King size mattress with all white and succulent duvet and pillows. Clean toilet , bespoke and tailored to ultimate comfort and splendor. Staff were polite, friendly and highly professional. Would greatly recommend!! Definitely repeating my stay. "
"As a Coventry born visitor...I knew the history of the Wyken Inn...and I like it.The only thing I would recommend is more hooks for hanging 'things'..in the toilet shower room and possibly a drawer unit for clothes in the rooms...otherwise...

"Swimpool was small and overcrowded when we visited on Sunday afternoon. Great for motorway stop and hotel is dated but massive, so much room. In the room, the lobby, the bar....we loved it. Friendly staff especially at breakfast and regardless of other reviews, lots of choice and great quality.
Definitely would visit again especially as it's Desi Bar country. We had dinner at The Hungry Elephant. Top top quality Indian food and enough left to take for next day dinner."

"Really clean, spacious and loads of plug sockets which was great. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and car park out the back was very convenient. We walked to Coventry Arena close by, through the big Tesco round the back and found other shops too - incredibly handy would definitely go back. Met the owner and he was really nice, and asked if there was anything he could do - really lovely service. Easily 5*."
"Handig hotel als doorreis locatie. Niet om vakantie te vieren. Omgeving is om 18:00 al dicht en alles op zondag. Beter eten voor goed vlees en meer bij Miller en Carter in Hinkley. Volk wat er woont is oud en rommelig. Omringende plaatsen zijn allemaal oud en goor. Het volk zit in crisis en hoop dronken mensen op pleinen. Wij waren er voor hoovercraft en kart ervaringen. Dat was geweldig. Voor de rest niet veel te doen."

"Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic."

"Everything you need for an overnight stay. Very clean and spacious. Only thing let it down was the narrow opening to the side of the building to get to the Car Park especially returning late at night. Otherwise great facilities."
