"Most amazing hotel and views from our balcony! Positano is stunning and we could not have picked a more magnificent spot. Getting off the ferry (which is absolutely the easiest way to arrive) we had a short walk over a small walking bridge and no stairs to the hotel. (Do not use google maps - local porter showed us the way at no charge) The bellman met us at the bottom of the town stairs and took our luggage (after I went to the front desk so they could send him). "Great location. Amazing room and view of the sea and the town. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. They booked our excursions when we asked them. Clean place. The only challenge was the steps to get to the hotel. But they offered concierge service to carry the luggage’s up the steps. This was very helpful. Loved the place. We will go back again and again"

"HVF is simply amazing. A beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff you can find in Italy. They made our stay even better. We had a beautiful room with unparalleled views over Positano. Staff recommended places and restaurants other than their own Michelin star. They secured reservations all across Amalfi for us, and made sure we were in safe hands. Everyone is fantastic! A huge shootout to Pedro and Lucia at the Gold Rooftop, Gigi, and the valet guys! Simply the best. Now we have to come back...

"Excellent location with amazing views. Walkable to everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing was the A/C did not work well and my building lost power almost every night off and on. That made it very hot even for the 10 minute off and on issues. Also- there was some mold around the a/c units in the wall. I assume this is common for this area. But- I would stay again!"
