But it had all the amenities required for today's guests. Check-in and staff were very friendly. On-site (free) parking was fabulous. We walked everywhere around Newport. "We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!"
"We stayed during the week and it was so quiet and private yet in the middle of an area that has tons to do. Close to beaches to walk the shore, restaurants, etc. We had great food on the property and enjoy the pool and grounds. Will return! "

"Convenient location, friendly staff. Wonderful little restaurant called Picnic at the end of the street. Just park your car and walk to many locations, no need to fuss with expendive Newport parking and traffic. Very comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet room."
