"We absolutely loved our stay at the Mansion House. It is within walking distance of all the sites in Elgin plus has very accessible parking. The surrounding walks and neighboring river made me feel like a character in a Jane Austin novel. Iona, Billy and all the staff made us feel like family. We even learned how to play snooker. Breakfast couldn’t have been better or more convenient. Will definitely try to return every time we go to Scotland!!!"

After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. "I love the location and been staying here on and off for 20 years but just feel the price is a little steep nowdays for a single person, especially as they want to charge you extra for breakfast. Staff are lovely and can't do enough to help you. Always clean and tidy and they are doing upgrades at the moments"

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."
