"We absolutely loved our stay at the Mansion House. It is within walking distance of all the sites in Elgin plus has very accessible parking. The surrounding walks and neighboring river made me feel like a character in a Jane Austin novel. Iona, Billy and all the staff made us feel like family. We even learned how to play snooker. Breakfast couldn’t have been better or more convenient. Will definitely try to return every time we go to Scotland!!!"

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"I love the location and been staying here on and off for 20 years but just feel the price is a little steep nowdays for a single person, especially as they want to charge you extra for breakfast. Staff are lovely and can't do enough to help you. Always clean and tidy and they are doing upgrades at the moments"

"We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. "Hotel really well located for amenities and a brilliant sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. On street parking limited on Saturday. Hallway areas looking pretty run down and main door for hotel guests was broken so open all night. Bit of a safety risk. Sat down for breakfast and then we were forgotten about. It took 20 mins before I got up and asked a girl who was mopping the floors if we could order. Another 25 mins for the breakfast to arrive. When it arrived it was ok but nothing...

"Lovely stay, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable & very clean. Lovely welcome pack. Beds were really warm & comfy. The balcony was wonderful, watched the sunrise & the surfers every morning with a cup of tea. Didn’t want to leave had such a peaceful time. Look forward to going back. "
