"We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!"

"This is our second stay at the Firth Hotel and really enjoyed it again. The rates are very competitive and cheerful as well as not breaking the bank are massive pluses. The rooms are clean, lovely sea view, very quiet, staff make check in easy. It's peaceful and a lovely staycation destination. Rooms despite being budget have a fan and a fridge as well as hairdryer, iron and decent pillows. "Lovely clean family room, all brand new furnishings so really comfortable. Quiet calm place to stay, self check in so barely see anyone but that’s just fine. Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. Not much going on in town but just very calm and quaint and authentic so not over touristy, which is perfect. Ideal base for exploring region."
