"Beach was beautiful. There were a couple of sargassum days but they worked really hard to keep it clear. Staff was nice, especially in the buffet restaurant. Those servers were on top of it. Food was subpar, two restaurants that were alacart were either closed or hard to get a reservation even with the upgraded room. Room was very outdated, but it is an island so some leniency probably needed for construction limitations. Pool was also not great as in the adult pool most of the pool was too...

"We have stayed here several times over the years and we have to be honest and say it has really gone downhill. The staff was great as always! But the facility itself has not been taken care of well. We didn’t have water to take a shower 3 evenings in a row. We would have to call or go down to the front desk and ask, then our water would come back on. "What is a decent place. Had a partial ocean view not a full on ocean view. We had a huge part of the hotel to our left. Which blocked a lot of the view. We were right off the street so it was pretty busy and loud. Very convenient to city life and walking at night. Very safe. Nice restaurants around. "Amazing hotel, with an amazing staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and friendly. My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. "Such a fun place to stay. There are two pools, lots of trees and a Palapa with chairs and a hammock to cool out in. It’s very relaxing and beautiful and away from all of the busy tourist stuff."

"No water pressure when arrived which was fixed great third day. Pool is amazing. Room had bugs but was sprayed day two which helped. Love the view. Staff not always friendly and did not even acknowledge us when entering or leaving. The friendliness was quite different then our great Thanksgiving stay. Would recommend stay on upper levels only. The shower could not have been cleaned as no water pressure."
