"Room was clean but garbage was not taken out and there was no soap in the dispensers. That said, they promptly brought supplies when we noted the issue."

"The air conditioning was not working properly and we had temperatures over 33C. The lounge and restaurant were absolutely boiling hot. The bedroom was hot, I complained and they said nothing could be done. I find it extremely difficult when you pay a high rate and don’t have the basis working. Other than this, it’s a nice hotel, great amenities in the bathroom, including a powerful and modern hairdryer."

"Mooie ruime gerenoveerde kamer. Formidabele ligging met uitzicht op strand en zee. Het ontbijt viel tegen. Slechts 1 keer ontbeten. Kwaliteit van producten was ondermaats. Roereieren uit pakje, en dat in een 4 sterrren hotel. Geen vers fruitsap, te weinig brood en werd niet bijgevuld enz. Het eten van een zogezegd ambachtelijk klaargememaakte pannekoek in de namiddag was ook een teleurstelling. Pannekoek was droog, taai en zonder smaak."

"The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean. It looked like it had recently been redecorated. The Ensuite bathroom was newly refurbished too. The reception staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage free of charge until check in time. The hotel is located in a great position within St Malo city walls. Easy to get to restaurants, shops and bars, tourist sites. We travelled on foot so didn't need to park. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as there were so many places in the...

"We had an enjoyable two night stay at the Balmoral. Classic European rooms in terms of size, super clean. Front desk staff was extremely nice. My father has the breakfast and enjoyed it."
