I enjoyed my stay at Anne Bretagne very much! From check in, the staff was very nice and helpful. My room was large and I loved my big window. I took advantage of the private pool, which made for a nice evening swim. My favorite stay so far on my 12 week solo trip across Europe.
Friendly and helpful reception staff, every interaction was met with a smile. Provided with upgraded room on arrival. Very quiet room……. A very relaxing stay and St Malo is always a great place to visit for a taste of France🍷
All very good, extreme weather 18 to 30 degreesC didn’t prove a problem. Lovely breakfast with local delicacies, helpful staff. Recommend would stay again.
Reception staff are outstanding.
Facilities are very modern and clean.
Great location in walled city.
Restaurant is good but waitress needs some training in customer service - or perhaps additional staff to help when it's busy.
We love this hotel! Our room was quite large and comfortable. We had a full set of windows that let in light and air. The hotel is on a quiet small side street in the old city. The hotel also has good air conditioning which is a relief when the weather gets hot in the summer. The reception staff are helpful and professional.
Very friendly people. Very modern and good room, in the heart of Saint Malo. This made the evening quite loud. Lots of people partying in the street.
Restaurant was fully booked and they did not ask us the make a reservation. The pool is also on reservation, for us it was completely booked, which is not logical and a pity.
The service is fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was so hard to find and to get to because it is such a maze, and without the staff’s guidance, we would have never found it. The rooms are quite small yet charming. A fun place.
Great hotel, with great location! It was hard to drive to, as part of the roads were closed and one way. After this ordeal, everything else was wonderful. You do have to pay extra for breakfast and parking. I do recommend paying for parking when you book the room, to ensure you have a spot, plus it is cheaper. Hotel pool was a nice bonus, but you do have to book an allotted time if you would like to swim. Pool was heated. Room did have AC, which was great given that it was way hotter than usual during our stay. Would highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and we loved the spa. Would recommend and definitely return
Lovely hotel, staff were great with the kids. We stayed in the new apartments just across the road but with full access to the hotel.
Pool is small but has a turbo trainer so you can swim against the current - just need to book it to use.
The hotel is located in the heart of Saint-Malo. We didn’t need to use a car during our stay. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are very nice.

The suite we booked was advertised on Expedia as having air con (a crucial decision in booking with a newborn) but when we arrived to heatwave weather the staff said none of the apartment rooms have air conditioning and we were instead given a fan to use. Other advertised features like a safe were also missing. We paid for early check in only for the room not to be ready at the agreed time despite being charged. I also messaged 6 months in advance of the trip requesting a bath or baby bath and was assured by reception that both were included, only to find neither in the room; it took 24 hours and 5 trips to reception with multiple promises of ‘we will deliver it in 20 mins’ to ‘we’ve lost it’ to ‘it will be with you by 9am tomorrow’ to finally get a bath to wash our baby.
The cleaners were lovely and did a brilliant job and the location was great. The apartments are in a building opposite the hotel, again, not the ‘suite’ experience advertised but a perfect location for st Malo.
Be aware when booking that features (such as air con) may not actually be there even if you contact the hotel ahead of travel.
I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Fantastic location, great little bar downstairs, the breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. We actually stayed in their smallest room but it was absolutely brilliant. Very comfortable bed, nice shower room and we had a really great sleep after a day of travelling! The staff were great and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The hotel has a small pool that can be booked as private slots so you can effectively have your own pool (bookable in 45 min slots)!

There was a very ‘drainy’ smell when we first went into the room- no idea where it came from but it disappeared very quickly. Beautifully clean room which was tidied every day.
All the staff we were in contact with were very helpful and pleasant.
We ate in the restaurant twice (apart from breakfasts) and the food was good with a varied choice on the menu.
very recently refurbished seemed brand-new, lovely fresh new carpets. very soundproof and nice balcony views of the streets of Saint Marlo. lovely and modern room with excellent location. friendly helpful staff. Will be standing again next time I visit.
