"This is a stunner of a hotel right on the shore in Dunkirk. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the parking lot. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) Nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend staying at the Merveilleux. "
"Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We were lucky to find a parking slot just outside, free of charge. The room was quite compact but was well maintained and spotless, facing the innner courtyard so guaranteed a good sleep. Bathroom looked like freshly refurbished and super clean, with strong shower pressure. Locationwise, it's close to good bakeries and seaside (which is amazing!), also about 25 min walk to Belfry and old town eith cafes and bakeries. We'd happily stay there again."
"Chambre spacieuse, très lumineuse et confortable au calme et propre. La vue de la chambre était très sympa. La personne à l’accueil est très sympathique et nous a donné les renseignements désirés.
Pour la déco : hôtel dans « son jus » mais nous le savions les photos sur le site sont conforment et ce n’est pas dérangeant. Je recommande pour sa proximité avec tout."
"Hotel très à agréable mais il n'y avait qu'une seule chaise dans la chambre pour deux personnes. Il n'y avait qu'une seule serviette pour deux personnes également. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, le personnel est très agréable et l'hôtel est très calme. "
" I stayed here with my teenage sons, the hotel was easy to reach by car and there was parking on site.
The hotel was quiet and safe, staff were very pleasant and customer focused. Beds were very comfortable, we had a great walk around the lake that was behind the property. Rooms very clean and welcoming.
Was easy to reach the War memorial from the hotel.
Would stay here again and would recommend it."
"le personnel est trés sympathique et les chambres sont relativement propres. par contre des travaux de rénovations seraient à envisager. Nous avions un jour en fermant la porte de ce fait les odeurs de tabac et autres des personnes fumant à l'extérieur s'infiltraient dans notre chambre. Ce n'est pas super agréable d'être réveiller à 2h du matin par les personnes de la chambre d'a coté et leurs odeurs, ni d'avoir l'odeur dans la chambre lorsque nous rentrons en fin de journée."

"Een budget hotel met vriendelijk personeel en een eenvoudig maar goed ontbijt tegen een fijne prijs. Comfortabel bed en een eigen toilet en douche gelegenheid. Kamers komen niet automatisch met handdoeken, dus het is raadzaam om deze zelf mee te nemen van huis, tegen betaling is deze ook bij de receptie te verkrijgen. "
"This property was perfect for my needs. I had come off a ferry at Dunkerque after midnight and didn’t want to be driving during the night. The hotel is only five minutes away. It was clean and quiet and breakfast was available in the morning. "
"Reviewing a hotel that is only £28 a night for 2 people is not easy. Overall value for money wise it is exactly as I expected. Basic, but functional. No frills, barely something that could have a frill. Bring earplugs. Bring a towel. Bring a realistic level of expectation. "
