"Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing."

"Beautiful room perfect for our family with 2 teenagers. Location near the train station and walkable around the town was great! Hosts were very helpful and the breakfast at the great pastry shop on the street behind was yummy."

The only downsides are hot water for showers is pretty limited so you need to space them out or have short showers, and the ladder to the bunk bed is not fixed onto the bed making it a safety concern, but this could be fixed with a couple screws. "The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. "B and B “Boutique Epocha” is a lovely and quiet oasis in the sea of madness that is the busy city of Salerno. The host is extremely helpful and the breakfast food is very good including some home-baked items. So lucky to have found such a great place! "

"The interior of the building was right out of a 1920's villa. Marble everywhere. Beautiful decor. The staff was exceedingly helpful about the history and sights to see. This was only supposed to be a stopover before we went to the Amalfi Coast. There was so much to see, I should have scheduled a couple more days."

"Arriving wasnt a good experience. The host was not ready for us. The info to the apartment was sent after we have arrived trying to figure out how to get in. We arrived in a ran storm which doesnt help. Our room was cold, no information of any kind on our to work coffee machine , where to get anything, where the wifi is. We have to figure things out ourselves. When i message the host , i didnt get respond till the next day . The room was large though with balcony. Our room was not clean...

"This hotel was in a convenient location. It was walking distances from the port, train/bus station and many rental car locations. We only had a 1 night stay to pick up or rental car before heading off. We arrived early and the hotel stored our luggage for us while we went out. The hotel is dated but comfortable. The breakfast provide was great and all the staff was lovely."

She made check-in and any questions I had very easy. and even help us schedule a taxi to the airport. The breakfast was just okay, but it had eggs and sausage, which is what I ate every morning, so it worked well for me. it has other stuff too but for warm food that was all.
