It must be said that a younger traveller will probably be more comfortable with the low-touch approach (text check in, code-locked doors), but they've clearly made an effort to be more accessible to a traveler looking for something more traditional. "This in was such an unexpected find. From the outside it looks like an old fashioned roadside motel but they’ve done a beautiful renovation / upgrade and the rooms are spacious and modern with nice touches like healthy snacks , a good coffee machine, noise machine , super comfy bed. Bathtub is always a nice plus. Second surprise is that breakfast is all homemade and delicious. I mentioned on the phone that a family member has a dairy allergy, and there were 2 dairy free homemade baked goods...

"A unique historical property, the furnishings are all lovely antiques. The parlor room is a beauty and it was so nice to have a cup of tea there at the end of the day. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. It was like staying at your great aunt's glamorous home...welcoming and comfortable. The bed was amazing!"

"This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression.
