"Hotel Cavour delivered exactly what you’d want from a short city stay. The room was a great size, spacious enough to feel comfortable without being impractical, and everything was well-appointed. For a two-night trip it was pretty much perfect. The only minor gripe was that the carpet could have been a little cleaner, nothing that ruined the experience, but worth a mention. Everything else, though, was spot on. Would happily stay here again."

"Pros - 20 metres from train station. Cons - very misleading description- no microwave no espresso TV definitely not 55” Main fact that got left out - if you get a room with T in front of number you’re in the basement and due to that fact our room stank of damp and mold and no natural light. We’ve had to wash all clothes and dispose of anything unwashable due to the smell. Conditions like that pose a health hazard and caused issues to breathing etc. couldn’t move as fully booked. Place is a cross between a halfway house and a hostel. We had someone trying to get in our room at 3am one night and noise from people gathering and smoking by laundry room/garbage room was also happening at all ours. Great city but very poor choice of accommodation that we would definitely not use again."

"Th reception desk staff were very helpful getting us taxis. Your first drink at the bar after 6:00 is free every day and the bartender is very nice. I didn’t care for the breakfast buffet - cold eggs and raw bacon. But there were a lot of other choices, so I didn’t go hungry. The room was very nice and clean with walk-in shower. It's a beautiful hotel with courtyard gardens. Very comfortable beds. Within walking distance of the Duomo, LaScala, shopping and great restaurants. "
