"Great place to stay just inside the walls of wonderful Lucca with good access to everything and close to the train station if you need to be (which we did). The room was clean and tidy and shared spaces included everything you needed (and a few bits more than we expected). Debora and her daughter were both lovely. Would really recommend."

"Beautiful converted hotel constructed in the 1700’s. Modern amenities. Like an elevator. Room had spa batch and separate shower. Breakfast had sweets and fresh fruits along with cheeses and assorted meats. No eggs. Room was comfortable. Most important is its location in the middle of Centro storico. Parking was a few steps away. "

"Monica is friendly and tries hard to make sure you have a good stay.
Good location, but there can be noise.
The breakfast is at a nearby coffee shop. You get a 10 Euro credit and choose what you like. Worked good for us.
The room is not brand new, but we liked it. There is good storage space."

"Le Dimore del Borgo is just on the outskirts of Lucca, 5min walk and you enter the walls of Lucca. Parking at the hotel is limited, about 10ish cars in total directly at the back of the hotel in an off street secure parking lot.
The hotel reception is not staffed 24-7.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, with cooking facilities and dining table. The bathroom was very clean.
There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel, but breakfast is available if booked in advance (I believe it is...
