For the price its nice resort but there are flaws.
Good: location, situated on top of the hill 5 minutes from Karon Beach. Not for everyone given the slope of the hill is very steep but the apartment offers great views. Apartments are spacious and roomy, pools are nice, it has a small gym which is convenient for most but if you like a proper workout then its insufficient. Air con is cold and nice, room tv has couple of foreign channels but most channels are in Thai. Place has elevator which is handy if you are on higher floors. Price is good considering the size and amenities on offer.
Bad: no frills service, cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, i notified the staff that somebody had done their body trimming on the balcony but nobody bothered to clean it up. On the final day before check out i asked why it wasn't addressed and the manager stated she forgot to take care of it. You wont have daily room service meaning no fresh towels or toiletries. You also don't have a laundry so you need to either wash your clothes or take them to nearby laundry shops.
Overall, i would give this place 6.5/10. Probably 7 or even 7.5 if service and overall cleaning was conducted properly. You can do better but if you are on a budget or are spending most of your days site seeing then for the price and its spaciousness this place is hard to beat.
