Check in was easy, I arrived a little late in the evening. If you are looking for a place just south of the busy party life, this is the spot to be. 2 Minute walk from the beach, and 5 minutes away from food/drinks and fire dancers at night. Although not easy for airport transportation, cabs can easily get to you for transportation around the island. The room was perfect. Really worth the value.

Our Stay at Sugar Marina Fashion

Our Stay at Sugar Marina Fashion We stayed at Sugar Marina Fashion in a “Chic Deluxe” room, which sounded quite luxurious when we booked it. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The room felt stuffy, and the balcony wasn’t inviting at all since the view was just a wall (see picture). On top of that, we had issues with mosquitoes and even cockroaches in the room, which wasn’t pleasant (picture of one I had to kill). It’s easy to be drawn in by the lovely photos, but sadly, this hotel wasn’t the best choice for us, especially when traveling with kids. On the positive side, the location was great, close to many things, but overall, it didn’t feel like staying at a proper hotel. I’m honestly relieved that we only booked four nights. We also accidentally left our AirPods behind and will contact the hotel to see if they can help us retrieve them. I’m sharing this to provide a balanced view of our experience. This hotel might be a better fit for someone who values location over room comfort and amenities, but for us, it didn’t quite work out.

The hotel is well situated for anyone who prefers the quieter side of Phuket. The hotel facilities are great and the lobby is beautiful. Bella and Mint are fantastic! Very helpful and supportive.

It was bad. We got cigarette smell in the room and the staff said the smoke from balcony. We insisted to changed room and the room's floor was sandy and with mosquito. The only good for this hotel is near beach.

Vi havde et stort familie værelse - med masser af plads til os som familie ! Personalet var super søde og så utrolig hjælpsomme !! Værelset havde hvad man har brug for - stranden lå ca 3/4 min gang fra hotellet hvor der var forskellige aktiviteter , 10-15 min gå gang lå kata noi som er en mindre strand med snorkel muligheder !

Fint hotel rigtig god beliggenhed

Dejligt hotel med rigtig god central beliggenhed i Kata Beach kun ca. 100 m fra stranden. Rigtig god morgenmad hos restsurant Kiri som er lige ved siden. Lækker og rent mindre pool område. Meget hjælpsomt personale i receptionen og kan fremhæve Sarah og Patty som gav superb service. Would go back.

サーフィン利用。海まで徒歩3分ぐらい。プールサイドにシャワーがあり、砂も落としやすい。バルコニーがあるのでスモーキングもOK。目の前にマッサージ屋が3軒ぐらいあり、その内一軒は12時ごろまでやってます。エクスチェンジホテルすぐ。いいホテルです！

For the money, this is a great hotel to stay during a vacation to Phuket (Kata Island). I went during the Covid19 "sandbox" system. This meant there were very few people there. The staff was helpful but had limited English fluency (this usually wasn't a problem -- but don't expect any detailed discussions on something urgent). Even with all of the covid19 protocols, they did their best when my information got lost in the bureacratic shuffle. The rooms are what you should expect for 20 USD/night. It has a faux French feel to it. Thin but clean beds. Nice shower and bath but the construction is shabby. Everything has a 'cheap' feel compared to what they are emulating. Still, for the price, great hotel!

Hôtel avec une clientèle “ bruyante”, notre voisin de chambre laissait la tv à fond toute la nuit, on l’entendait cracher, on s’est plaint à la réception en vain, on a préféré quitter cet hôtel qui n’est pas du tout un hôtel pour les familles et dont le service après vente est inexistant!
