"I chose this hotel because of the reasonable price and excellent location. It was worth it to me to valet the car and be able to walk or uber to certain appointments, restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean and quiet. The ac was good and had lots of options. The water pressure was fantastic and I loved taking a shower every morning. Staff was super helpful, taking my luggage to the room (I drove so I overpacked), getting the car and cleaning. Wi-Fi good as well."

"got double charged, once for my initial reservation on expedia and then at 4am by the hotel for another room charge. I communicated that to the front desk and they let me know that it is due to using a third party website and its an error that happened when completing billing on their end. This is not the first time it has happened to me and happens at different hotels so I am starting to think it is due to Expedia."

"The hotel is under renovation on the ground floor which make guests uncomfortable with the air pollution and very dusty. The construction haven’t protected the environment and guests."

"Wonderful experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel is dog friendly… though it’s challenging to get to a designated place to relieve the dogs. The rooms are beautiful and modern. Excellent amenities. Love the roof top restaurant and pool!"

"Old but super clean, vintage retro vibes. Rooms had everything you need. Staff was helpful and I would recommend. Sucks how they don’t include parking and you have to pay an extra fee. You need luck to find parking close by even though we always however we did have to pay street parking."

"The room is big enough , clean , bed is comfortable . Parking is easy , close. However , the air vent cover in bathroom is very old , bent , very rusty and has a spiderweb. Vanity sink drains slowly. It takes a long time , close to 4 minutes, for the shower water to get warm enough to get under. I feel guilty wasting water especially in CA ."

"A friend and I just completed a 3 night, 4 day stay at the Palihotel Melrose. I loved the location as a lot of the places I set out to visit were in walking distance which was perfect to recharge in between events. Check in was easy and the concierge has an option to hold your bags before check in if needed. There is underground parking available but I’d often have to go inside and let someone know that we were trying to get in so they can open the gate. I would suggest they implement some way where they are alerted that someone is attempting to enter through the gate.
