  • This amazing dessert was served in a fishbowl, just like the other five courses. Inside was a crème Chiboust with sour red current jelly, almond praline, rice crackers and orange blossom bubbles. Topping it off was a disc of shaved ice infused with redwood stems. Pretty imaginative and incredible tasty.

Excellent stay. Incredibly friendly staff and the room was basic but clean and cozy. Wonderful location! Grocery stores are close by and you can microwave your food in the common breakfast area to keep your trip on budget! Would book this hidden gem again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained. It wasn’t a luxury hotel, but everything was done properly and with great care. I also felt very safe during my stay, which was really important to me. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby areas. There were no fancy amenities, but the staff were extremely helpful, kind, and professional. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe place with friendly service and a convenient location.

Staff was nice and the room very spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple (yogurt, packaged muffins and madeleines, etc., bananas, porridge pacjets, milk, orange juice, coffee and tea) but it got me started. My room had a fridge and the breakfast room had a microwave, so I was able to reheat takeout leftovers. There was a small dining table. so I could eat in my room. It was a bit chilly but the heater was very efficient and even the washroom warmed up if you left the washroom door open. The hotel is in a residential area, so quiet and safe. Big museums were walking distance (6th Street offered a pleasant walk). There are good amenities and restaurants on 3rd Street, which was 15 minutes away. I would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were slim, but made a perfect snack to hold off for a big meal later in the day. I liked the little courtyard, and the location was out of this world (I enjoy walking, and everything I wanted to do was within a coupleof miles of the property). This was a clean, low key, enjoyable hotel.
