I walk with a mobility aid (cane) and chose this hotel because it was listed as single level. It is NOT single level and on check in I was told there were no rooms on the ground floor. Fortunately I could get up the stairs with my cane but it was really difficult for me to carry my suitcase up the stairs and I was not offered help. When I was approaching the hotel a woman with a walker outside asked me if I could ask the front desk to “unlock the ramp” so she could enter to check in. Wildly non-accessible. Outside of this issue however the room was clean and well maintained if a little dated. Even though he didn’t offer to help with my luggage the front desk was mostly kind and helpful and stored my suitcase in a closet ahead of check in time so I could go shopping without carrying it around. The locks on the door were traditional key locks and difficult to open so the man from the front desk had to come upstairs to show me. If accessibility weren’t an issue I would give 4/5 stars and probably stay again because it is conveniently located to the El Rey Theatre (15 min walk) and in a quiet area. But the accessibility issues take me out.

Very cute, charming, and vintage hotel—complete with an actual physical room key and even a payphone in the hallway! It felt nostalgic and added to the hotel's unique character. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. We were also impressed by the staff's hospitality. We arrived about two hours before check-in, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The housekeeping team adjusted their schedule to prepare our room early, allowing us to check in ahead of time. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Another great perk was the 24/7 Keurig coffee station in the lobby, along with complimentary green and black tea. The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast selection. There weren't many healthy options available. Most of the offerings consisted of packaged cereal, cookies, snack bars, and instant oatmeal, which tended to be high in sugar. While yogurt was available, it was only the fruit-on-the-bottom variety, which also contains quite a bit of added sugar. It would be great to see a few healthier additions, such as toast, cream cheese, peanut butter, and jelly. These can still be convenient packaged items while offering guests more balanced choices. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. The location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and food options within walking distance.

No parking on site, staff member showed us where we could park on the street and gave permits. But they didn’t explain that the car had to be moved by 9 am so we got a ticket $93. They promised to pay it so hopefully we won’t need to pay. Room was very nice, remodeled and spacious, facing court yard. At the same time Entrance and hallways had smelly and dirty carpet so first impression of the property wasn’t very nice. Breakfast was only sweet stuff so we could not eat anything there. Water, coffee, tea and yogurts were available all day long. Location is great, walking distance to a very nice plaza with many good food options as well as few museums. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The room is spacious and clean. The staff are super friendly. Great location which is walking distance to Farmer's Market and museums. Breakfast is ok and we grabbed a banana and milk from it only during our stay. There are several coffee shops within a couple of blocks. Parking at night is a bit challenging on the street, but manageable. We found parking each night within a block.

The hotel is well located, just a block from the new Academy of Motion Picture Museum, the new Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum and the Petersen Automotive Museum. The hotel is a two story building in a pleasant residential neighborhood. The hotel is well maintained and clean and, during our visit, quiet. A human is on duty at the front desk which is a great convenience. The cleaning staff was friendly, efficient, and did a good job. Our room faced Crescent Heights Blvd which produced considerable traffic noise, but was acceptable when using the good A/C. Otherwise, the hotel was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

This is a very clean no frills hotel. If all you need is a good sleep in a hotel with clean rooms but not much else to offer, then this is it. Breakfast was disappointing: prepackaged pastries and oatmeal, some uncut fruit (bananas) and yogurt. That was it. I went to a breakfast place afterward. Staff is friendly but there was no remote for the TV in my room. After asking seceral questions of “have you looked?”, -Yes! - he gave me a remote that did not work. It is conveniently located in West Hollywood.

Air worked well and mattress was comfortable. However, not a single amenity, no extra blankets, dangerous end of bed sticking out which my daughter couldn’t see and got a huge bruise, pieces of long hair in the shower, no staff to speak of, no elevator and hard to walk with bad knees I was getting surgery on the next day. All you got was a bed to sleep on. Would not stay again. No parking except on the street if you found one. I guess it was cheaper and you get what you pay for.
