Pros: Room was spotless and the grounds were beautiful. This place allows you to live like a local and not a tourist. With that, cons: The building was old and I could hear a lot of noise from the room below.

Cool neighborhood location walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Rooms a mini apartments which are super convenient with kitchenettes and laundry facilities. Cozy bed and breakfast feel with a bunch more privacy.

The room we stayed in was very nice and well maintained. The room had modern conveniences with out taking away from the history of the property. Staff was very nice and approachable. The only regret is that we only stayed one night and did not get to enjoy all the features of the property.

We loved the Charlie . We felt safe. Nice neighborhood. Gated property and parking. Charming cottage feel to the suites. Walkable to restaurants. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed and living room. Stayed in the Marlene suite. Expensive but all of la is. Would recommend.

I got the privilege of staying in the Dylan, and Ruth. I loved both, equally. The staff were delightful, experienced and accommodating. The Charlie has managed to maintain a low profile, making it very special and exclusive among the “local” patrons. mmake this place

Walkable to so much - restaurants, activities, etc. Parking available, but Uber is always nearby. Excellent staff. Beautiful property and homey. Great water pressure. Remember these were bungalows built years ago, so if you have a room with stairs, they may be steep for older people. There are other options.

Beautiful property in a great location. Enjoy the low key, private feeling. Each unit has a full kitchen, outdoor space and washer/dryer. Comfortable and clean. Only negative would be the thin walls. You can really hear everything outside the room, however, it is generally pretty quiet.
