"We spent 2 nights at Dunes hotel in L.A. It was very close to BLS International office were we had an appointment to get our schengen visa to Europe. We booked the standard room which it was nice with wood floors, white bedding, white clean towels etc. Dunes inn is not fancy, actually we got a real key instead of a card key but it is a descent, simple and clean place to sleep in. "Very quirky and but pretty hotel. Still feels a little like a boutique hotel even though it's now a Marriott property. But, like most Marriotts, the staff is well trained, helpful, and they actually seem to be enjoying their work. They were chatty and very kind. Great location in Beverly Hills and we got a very reasonable rate. A great stay and we will visit again!"

"The property exceeded our expectations. Nice room, pleasant staff, daily happy hour, nice restaurant and rooftop pool. Only thing, non paying people were allowed access to pool and often they occupied all the lounge chairs by the pool..for hours! Seems like they should be reserved for those of us who were paying customers. It was expensive to stay there (but I think that is the norm) but the location was terrific! We walked everywhere and did not rent a car."

"I had a pleasant three-day stay here while visiting Los Angeles. One of the highlights was that it's reasonably renovated so everything is new and doesn't have that "tired" hotel feel. They do provide parking but those spaces are a bit tight and they don't guarantee you one as they fill up. It didn't fill up on me so I didn't have to try on the street. "I liked the staff and very easy check-in. The exterior is nice and well kept. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. What I did not like, was the room I was in(which was nice in size)was not fully clean. There were children’s markings all on the metal bedside drawers and writings on the table.
