"I felt welcomed as soon as I walked into the hotel. The lobby is clean, spacious and lets in lots of natural light.The staff really made the stay excellent. They all were so friendly, warm and accommodating from the moment we arrived through to check-out after our two-night stay. You can tell they care about guests and, take care of the hotel. "The hotel smelled like fabuloso, as if it’s pure fabuloso. If you stayed in the main area long enough it would cause a headache. The elevator smelled like marijuana and there was drywall crumbs or something all over the floor. The elevator felt like it was going to break. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them. "Only complaint would be noise (and I even had the fan running all night). Between the outside traffic at night and the room above me stomping on the floor at 5am. Besides that it was great."

"Pool was closed due to renovations but that’s okay because we didn’t have time to utilize it anyway. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were more than accommodating…above and beyond for us in a few instances. Breakfast was great and there was access to water, tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day and night. It was a very nice surprise when I came back from being in the cold and wind all day to a hot cup of tea! Will definitely stay there again!!"

I then received a text a few hours later just making sure that we wanted our room serviced and I replied that we did. When we got back to our room the next day, someone had put a no service on our door, no one had made the beds or cleaned the room. "The rooms are not carpeted, so slippers are a good idea. This also contributed to more noise above us. The room was not as cozy and spacious, as I'm used to, but the beds were comfortable. The breakfast options were great. Something for every taste. I needed to use the hotspot on my phone to connect my iPad. It could be because it is a bit older. My daughter has a newer version, and she had no problems."

"We were happy to have a place to stay that was in a great location. But being forced to use and pay for valet is silly and inconvenient having to ask for keys to a car that is parked 20 feet away. It was cool being in my grandfather’s high school, but the interior room furniture is rusting. It’s a comfortable spot, great locale. "

"The only appeal this place is the proximity to PPG Paints Arena. First off, we couldn’t check in until after 4:00, despite seeing multiple people getting there after us and being able to check in. The rooms are average at best and the beds feel like they came from 1996. The most comical part of the entire stay was the $100 parking fee. That’s absolutely absurd to charge $100 for parking.
